SCUSI, FACCIAMO L'AMORE OST - MORRICONE

Sublime Morricone. Loads of soft vocal stuff from Edda. Plus the great sitar tune 'From bed to worse'. Issued originally as a single, then the ultra rare POO bootleg and finally this 1984 press on GSF. So as far as I know this is the only realistic way to get the full score. GRADE - NM/NM PRESS - GSF PRICE - $35 USD

2000 WEEKS OST - DON BURROWS

Very rare Australian score from Burrows. His best solo work in my opinion. Dark incidental jazz themes featuring some of the big Australian players of the day. THE GREAT MACARTHY OST - BRUCE SMEATON

Surely one of the wildest tunes ever to come out of Australia. An ultra rare 7" from 'The Great MaCarthy OST. Chase style soundtrack funk complete with warbling Moog and crazy vocal/scatting from Maggie Nesbitt. Insane stuff! Bruce told me that he is good buddies with Emil Richards and asked him to feature on the recording sessions. This may well explain the groovyness. Along with other Bruce Smeaton scores this was issued on CAM. Not so much interested in a sale but would love to do a nice trade for another 7". Jazz or OST. GRADE - VG+ PRESS - CAM

ERIC FRAMOND - UNIVERS 2000

Brilliant and clever record. Dark mechanical library jazz with wild female scats?. Quirky conceptual futuristic themes. In my opinion it's one of the best MP2000 library LPs. Very highly recommended. Item Art

GERARD KENNEDY - SEASONS OF LOVE

Relatively unknown Libaek LP. It's the Inner Space era Libaek sound with introspective poetry by Gerard Kennedy. (Think Rod McKuen). Please note that I am not trying to pass off any old LP with Libaek's production on it, this is actually quite an interesting record. Although it does feature spoken word on every track it does include some long passages of classic Libaek. For Libaek completists only I guess. GRADE - VG+/VG+ (Corner bend & some light occasional light noise throughout) PRESS - FESTIVAL Australia PRICE - $20 USD

SVEN LIBAEK - MY THING

The big one! Featuring the classic 'Misty Canyon'. Sublime LP all round. Unfortunately this copy has seen better days. Cover is EX bar some pen marks on back and labels. Can't say the same about the disc I'm afraid. Its one of those records that looks nice and glossy from one angle then looks terrible from another. It's covered in small surface marks and some larger scuffs. Plays with noise. Sometimes not even noticeable in the fuller tracks. Looks VG-, plays VG. If your interested contact me for an audio sample and make me an offer. It's quite a listenable copy at a cheaper price.

Item Art

TONY ANSELL - STONEWALL SAMBA

Groovy Aussie latin 7". A great breazy little scat tune that sounds very library-ish. (Which I guess it was being from the ABC) I imagine this could have been the theme for early 80s Wide World of Sports of something along those lines..B Side is an cool electro tune similar to the Bruton library sound. GRADE - ORIGINAL SLEEVE/VG+ PRESS - ABC PRICE - $18 USD

NAKED BUNYIP OST ***SOLD***

Beyond rare 7inch soundtrack from the Australian sex satire film. Amazing little artifact from Australia's film history. I'm not sure if it was a promo or commercial released (anyone know) Its on a private label and I've never seen anything else on the "Bunyip label" Its only the theme track and rest is dialogue from the movie. Great listening. The track is a great sexy lounge tune with soft female vocals. I only know of 5 copies and I've got two. GRADE - VG+/VG+ PRESS - PRIVATE (BUNYIP?) PRICE - OFFERS

JAZZ AUSTRALIA - DON BURROWS, JUDY BAILEY, JOHN SANGSTER, BERNIE MCGANN ***SOLD***

An amazing insight into Australian modern jazz from the mid 60s. The compilation features otherwise unavailable compositions from four of Australia's finest. The track Lonely Girl by Don Burrows was the inspiration for the 2000 weeks soundtrack. The Judy Bailey 'Two Part sketch' is like an outtake from her CBS recordings only better. Two rare tunes from the under-recorded Bernie Mcgann plus the brilliant avant garde piece 'Conjur Man' from the mighty John Sangster. Hands down my favourite Australian 60s jazz LP. Highly recommended. GRADE - VG+/VG+ PRESS - CBS PRICE - $140 USD

DALY WILSON BIG BAND - ON TOUR

Their best in my opinion. Full of killer raw and brassy big band funk. One of the best Daly Wilson line-ups, Dave Donovan, Bob McIvor ect. Featuring great versions of standard covers such as Shaft and Ode to Billy Joe but the highlight is definitely the psych interpretation of 2001 Space Odyssey. GRADE - EX/EX PRESS - REPIRSE PRICE - $20 USD

Item Art

GALAPAGOS DUCK - EBONY QUILL

Their first studio LP is a very consistent and solid session. A more groovier outing than the more modal sounding predecessor 'The Removilist's' OST. A great version of 'Grazing in the Grass' and the very Harlem Pop Trotters sounding 'Mr Natural'. GRADE - EX/EX PRESS - PHILIPS PRICE - $20 USD

INNER SPACE - SVEN LIBAEK - ***SOLD***

I guess I don't really have to explain this one at all. I've written enough about this LP in the last year or so. I think it can speak for itself from now on. GRADE - NM/NM PRESS - FESTIVAL AUSTRALIA PRICE - $400 AUD

NICKEL QUEEN 45 - SVEN LIBAEK - ***SOLD***

Single from the Nickel Queen soundtrack. 'Look Every Day' and 'Go Anywhere'. I've noticed this seems to be one of Sven's least wanted soundtracks but it's really great in my opinion. Funny how buying trends work. Check it out, Digeredoo, Sitar and Kerrie Biddell amongst the classic Libaek sound. You can't go wrong! This is rare too! Never played with original sleeve. Contact me regarding other Libaek 45's. I've got them all. GRADE - M/NM PRESS - PHILIPS AUSTRALIA PRICE - $45 AUD

Classic Proggy pop from the King Crimson stable. A favourite of mine for some time now. Strange pop tunes with a sometimes hard jazz feel. If your after breaks there is some great ones on here. PARADISE - JOHN SANGSTER ***SOLD***

Comissioned by the Queensland Tourist Bureau, this promotional LP from 1973 showcased the pleasures that were to be had in sunshine state.
